This site is dedicated to the pursuit of a healthier body by exercise and diet. In fact its the blog of 12krunner, a person who did not start running until his 50th birthday, who started by entering a 12km Fun Run in September 2008 as a 12km walker and subsequently a 12km runner in 2009 & subsequent years.
By using targets to motivate and extra events to continue the motivation it has been a real adventure.
In August 2011, due to injury I added bike riding to the list and the story continues.
In February 2012 I confirmed I was no longer able to run when, after 6 weeks of light training, my knees’ packed up again.
It was at this point my cycling journey became my main focus.
Please feel free to follow me on this journey.
